Nikolai Beckers is a seasoned chief executive and transformation leader with a distinguished track record of leading large-scale telecommunications, technology, and digital infrastructure businesses across Europe and emerging markets.
Throughout his career, he has held CEO and board-level roles, managing multi-billion dollar operations, complex restructurings, and enterprise-wide transformation programs in highly competitive environments.
As CEO of Deutsche Telekom Romania, Nikolai led the integration of five operating companies into a unified national operator, executed one of the largest telecommunications rebrands in the region, and improved profitability while navigating significant market disruption. He later served as Group CEO of Bakcell and Chairman of Azerconnect, leading a comprehensive turnaround that transformed a financially distressed business into one of the strongest-performing telecom operators in the region.
Today, Nikolai advises boards, investors, and executive teams on growth strategy, operational transformation, turnaround management, digital infrastructure, and AI enabled business innovation, helping organizations unlock value and accelerate sustainable growth.
